The fourth track of the EP is about the Lagos hustle, the struggle to survive and trying to build a future.
The lyrics explained
Lagos seems to be one of the most difficult places to live in Nigeria. A lot of Lagosians just manage to survive from one day to the other. Salary jobs are rare and hardly ever cover the living costs. There for it is no wonder that informal transactions make up two thirds of the overall economy. Everybody is always looking for ways to make some extra money and build from there.
Early momo when I wake up Omo hustle dey take off Sharp sharp na to link up No dey form motivator, motivator for you
A Nigerian writer describes how well-off Lagosians have become a tribe of “reluctant libertarians … participating in a precarious frontier spirit.” If you ask them why, the answer remains the same: The government doesn't care about us, hence we need to take care of ourselves.
Hustle, hustle on a low Majeki anybody know Make the matter no go choke 'Cause you dey OYO o
